Who is responsible

UCS is the services business presented on this website. The website is operated by UPSQUARE CONSULTING SERVICES PVT LTD, India, which is responsible for the website and inquiry processing described in this notice. Where applicable, it acts as the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

What this website processes

This is a static marketing website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no account system or website inquiry database. Contact links open your email application; the website does not receive or store your inquiry.

We use Google Analytics to understand website usage. Its Google tag sends usage data to Google and uses cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. See how Google uses cookies.

Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery provider, may process technical request data and logs, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times, to deliver, operate, and secure the site.

The engagement-fit quiz on Services runs in your browser. Its selections are used to display a recommendation and are not submitted to UCS or saved by the site. The website does not make decisions about your employment or eligibility for services.

Information you email to UCS

When you email hello@ucs.tech or jobs@ucs.tech, our email provider processes your sender address, message contents, attachments you include, and ordinary email metadata, such as recipients and timestamps.

We use this information to respond to business or career inquiries and to manage the resulting conversation. Applications and expressions of interest sent to jobs@ucs.tech are used only for recruiting evaluation and related communication. Please avoid sending passwords, sensitive identity documents, or confidential third-party material.

Why we process it

Where the GDPR applies, we process inquiry emails to take steps at your request before entering an agreement, where relevant, or for our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries. Operating and securing this website also serves our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service.

For visitors in India, we process the personal data you voluntarily provide to respond to your request. Rights and obligations under India’s DPDP framework apply as the relevant provisions take effect and where they cover the processing.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. You choose whether to email us and what to include. Without enough contact information and context, we may be unable to respond to your request.

Retention

We keep inquiry emails only as long as needed for the conversation and ordinary business records. We then delete or archive them according to internal practice and any applicable legal retention requirements. Archiving still involves retaining information; you can ask us about records relating to you. Technical log retention is governed by provider settings and terms. Analytics retention depends on the Google Analytics property settings.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare processes technical website data, Google processes website analytics data, and our email provider processes correspondence so we can receive, store, and reply to messages. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Website data and email may be processed in multiple regions through these providers. Their standard service and data protection terms govern their processing, including any applicable transfer arrangements. Email hello@ucs.tech to ask about the providers and arrangements relevant to your information.

Your choices and rights

Email hello@ucs.tech with your privacy request. You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have sent us, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You may raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority where that right applies. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the correspondence. Legal retention obligations and other applicable limits may affect what we can delete or provide.

For requests under the GDPR, the usual response deadline is one month from receipt. The law permits an extension of up to two additional months for complex or numerous requests, with an explanation provided within the first month. Other applicable laws may set different deadlines. If we cannot act on a request, we will explain the reason and the available complaint route.

You can raise a grievance through the same email address. Where applicable, you may complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. Rights under the DPDP Act, including grievance redressal and nomination, apply as the relevant provisions commence. Withdrawal may prevent us from continuing the requested conversation but does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Children

This website and its services are not directed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact hello@ucs.tech so we can review it.

Changes to this notice

We update the effective date when this notice changes. Material changes to processing may require additional notice or choices before they take effect.
